TATA IPL 2026: RCB vs LSG preview - It’s bounce back time!
Lucknow Super Giants will lock horns with the Royal Challengers Bengaluru in our upcoming fixture of the TATA IPL 2026 on Wednesday, April 15. The match-up will be staged at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru from 7:30 PM IST.
The game against the Gujarat Titans saw Aiden Markram play a good hand with the bat, thanks to a 21-ball 30. Meanwhile, Digvesh Rathi, Prince Yadav and Mohammad Shami chipped in with a wicket apiece, but we fell short in our effort to defend the total.
“The tournament has just started here. The trust and belief in the camp are enough. And we know it's going to come soon enough. It's always positive," said Rishabh Pant in the post-match presentation, reflecting on the GT result.
Moving on from that underwhelming outing, the Rishabh Pant-led side will look to bounce back with our third win of the campaign and improve our 2-4 head-to-head record versus RCB, climbing up the points table in the process.
In our previous win over RCB at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in 2024, Nicholas Pooran’s unbeaten 40* off 21, including five maximums, propelled us to a respectable 181/5.
Thereafter, Mayank Yadav’s 3/14 and M. Siddharth’s 1/21 ensured a comfortable 28-run victory, with the former winning the Player of the Match award for his terrific spell.
Taking inspiration from that evening, our Super Giants will aim to return to winning ways. One minor blip in our journey won’t define the rest of the tournament. It’s time to gather as a unit and give it our all with the LSG Brigade alongside us at every step. Lesssgooo!
