Biography

Prince Yadav is a promising right-arm fast bowler from Delhi who has rapidly risen through the domestic ranks to establish himself as an important part of the Lucknow Super Giants bowling attack. Known for his pace, movement and ability to attack the stumps, his journey has been one of perseverance and steady progression.

Prince’s cricketing journey began with tennis-ball cricket before he made his way into Delhi’s domestic setup. He made his first-class debut in 2024 and soon made an impression in white-ball cricket, including 11 wickets in the 2024-25 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. His performances earned him an IPL opportunity with LSG, who signed him at his base price ahead of the 2025 season.

After picking up three wickets in his debut IPL season, Prince took a significant step forward in IPL 2026. He claimed 16 wickets in 14 matches, finishing as LSG’s leading wicket-taker and producing several crucial spells throughout the campaign.

One of the defining moments of his season came against Royal Challengers Bengaluru, when Prince produced a stunning delivery that jagged back through Virat Kohli’s defence and knocked over his off stump. Prince finished the game with 3/33.

His breakthrough IPL campaign was followed by the biggest milestone of his young career. Prince made his ODI debut for India against Afghanistan in June 2026 before making his T20I debut against Ireland later that month. He has since represented India across both white-ball formats, marking a remarkable rise from tennis-ball cricket to the international stage.

With his raw pace, ability to generate movement and fearless approach, Prince Yadav represents the next generation of Indian fast-bowling talent and remains an exciting part of the Lucknow Super Giants setup.
