Lucknow Super Giants will take on the Chennai Super Kings in our 12th match of TATA IPL 2026 on May 15 at Ekana. The match will begin at 7:30 PM IST.

The reverse fixture, which took place on May 10 at Chepauk, saw the opposition emerge victorious by five wickets. Josh Inglis’ magnificent 85 off 33 and Shahbaz Ahamad’s all-round show - where he scored 43* off 25 followed by 2/30 with the ball - were among the few positive takeaways.

“I think it was a great game. Everything was coming out nicely. We knew we were going to put enough pressure on in the power play because when you practice like that, that's the kind of cricket you look forward to.

A lot of character shown to come back from there [After Urvil's knock]. Definitely, some areas where we can work out, but kudos to CSK,” said Rishabh Pant in the post-match presentation.

With pride to play for, the Rishabh Pant-led side will look to avenge the recent defeat and aim to collect its fourth win of the season.

Talking about our previous match-up versus the Super Kings at Ekana in the 2025 campaign, Rishabh Pant scored a steady 49-ball 63 knock, laced with four fours and sixes apiece, whereas Digvesh Rathi (1/23) and Aiden Markram (1/25) bowled economical spells. Backing the trio to come good in the upcoming encounter too!

Although our quest for the playoffs has concluded, that would by no means deter the players from giving their absolute best on the field. With three games remaining, the team will look forward to collecting wins in each game to finish on a high, beginning with the CSK challenge at home.
