Lucknow Super Giants went down by seven wickets against the Gujarat Titans in our fourth match of TATA IPL 2026.

Put in to bat first, the Super Giants looked to build a competitive total but couldn’t quite find the momentum needed through the innings. Aiden Markram top-scored with a steady 30 off 21 deliveries, anchoring the innings briefly.

Late cameos from Mohammad Shami and debutant George Linde provided a handy push, helping the side post 164/8 at the end of 20 overs.

Defending the total, the Super Giants made an early impact with Digvesh Rathi striking inside the powerplay to remove Sai Sudharsan. However, the Titans found stability through Shubman Gill and Jos Buttler, who both registered fifties and put together a decisive 84-run partnership.

Despite all the efforts from the bowlers, including wickets from Prince Yadav and Mohammad Shami towards the latter stages, the Gujarat Titans eventually chased down the total comfortably, sealing the contest by seven wickets.

The boys will look to regroup quickly and aim to bounce back stronger in our upcoming fixture against Royal Challengers Bengaluru on Wednesday, April 15.
