Lucknow Super Giants batter Quinton de Kock has been selected in South Africa’s 15-member squad for the T20 World Cup 2024 to be held in the United States and the West Indies in June.

The 31-year-old de Kock will make his fifth appearance at the T20 World Cup, having played for South Africa at the marquee event's 2014, 2016, 2021 and 2022 editions.

He is also an absolute giant in T20 cricket with over 300 games to his name and close to 10,000 runs. In international cricket, QDK has represented South Africa in 80 T20I matches and scored 2277 runs.

He has been part of the Lucknow Super Giants squad since IPL 2022, when he enjoyed a stellar season, scoring 508 runs as LSG made it to the playoffs.

The southpaw hammered his T20-best of 140* against Kolkata Knight Riders in IPL 2022, as he and KL Rahul put on an unbroken 210 to break the record for the biggest opening partnership in the tournament's history.

QDK has played nine matches for LSG this season. His season-best of 81 helped the team register a 28-run win over the Royal Challengers Bengaluru.

Here’s wishing him all the best for the T20 World Cup!
