We endured a challenging TATA IPL 2026 season, managing four wins in 14 matches. Yet, through the ups and downs, moments of individual heroics kept the spirit alive and none shone brighter with the ball than our very own Prince Yadav.

The right-arm pacer emerged as a standout performer in the bowling department, delivering with remarkable consistency throughout the campaign. With 16 wickets in 14 matches, Prince didn’t just lead our bowling charts, he rattled oppositions with pace, precision and intent, lifting the energy in the dugout and the LSG Brigade alike.

His journey this season began on a strong note in the opener against Delhi Capitals, where he picked up 2/20 in three overs. The highlight? A peach of a delivery to dismiss Axar Patel, a moment that instantly signalled what was to come. From there, Prince grew from strength to strength, claiming wickets at crucial junctures in the subsequent matches and never letting the pressure drop.

One of the defining visuals of the season came against Royal Challengers Bengaluru, where he got the better of Virat Kohli. Absolutely unplayable. The ball, the frame, the celebration - everything about that moment was perfect!

Then came a moment that made it all count. Just hours before the clash against the Rajasthan Royals on May 19, Prince received his maiden ODI call-up for India. Years of hard work, grit and belief finally paid off! It was not just a personal milestone, but a proud moment for the entire franchise.

With the 24-year-old creating buzz across the circuit, the stage is now set for Prince to shine at the international level.
