Lucknow’s Gazab Andaz makes LSG 10K a giant success
We called and Lucknow answered in its very own Gazab Andaz,! Over 2,500 runners took to the streets on Sunday to make the inaugural LSG 10K Lucknow run a grand success.
The early flag off from the iconic 1090 Chauraha in Butler Colony unleashed a wave of blue onto the Lucknow streets with the runners, from different age groups and genders, pledging their support towards a greener and better Lucknow.
It was all smiles right from the starting point to the finish line at the LSG 10K Lucknow with participants running in two different races - the 10K Challenge and the 5K Fun Run.
There was fun, some running and, of course, passionate LSG chants. Is there any better way to start a Sunday?
Thousands came out today morning to run for their city, our city. 🫡

Thank you, Lucknow, for making the first ever #LSG10K an incredible experience 😍💙 pic.twitter.com/PCNk5wlryS
LSG head coach Justin Langer, assistant coach Lance Klusener and fielding coach Jonty Rhodes, three cricket legends in their own rights, were also present to flag off the event and shared some unforgettable dance moves and pearls of wisdom with the enthusiastic runners and fans.
The heroes of the day also included some of Lucknow’s very own. From Mr. Somjeet Singh, captain of the Indian wheelchair cricket team to Mr. Santosh Mishra, SP-Crime UP - the event was a star-studded effort in what is to become an annual occurrence going ahead. As promised, the Super Giants will plant 2500 trees in the monsoon in a bid to make Lucknow greener.
The positive vibes from the LSG 10K Lucknow is sure to carry over into next week when we hit the road to start our IPL 2024 campaign against Rajasthan Royals in Jaipur. We host Punjab Kings for our first home game at Ekana on March 30.
