IPL 2025 to resume on May 17 - get Super Giants’ revised schedule

The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 will resume on May 17, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced on Monday.
After extensive consultations with the government, security agencies, and with all the key stakeholders, the BCCI has decided to go ahead with the remainder of the IPL 2025 season.
As per the IPL 2025 revised schedule, a total of 17 matches will be played across six venues - Lucknow, Bengaluru, Jaipur, Delhi, Mumbai and Ahmedabad.
Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) will host Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the first match at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium once the tournament restarts.
The Rishabh Pant-led Super Giants will resume their campaign on May 19 against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) at home, the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow.
They will then travel to Ahmedabad to face Gujarat Titans (GT) on May 22, before playing their final home match against RCB on May 27.

Meanwhile, the Qualifier 1 will be held on May 29, while the Eliminator will take place on May 30. The Qualifier 2 will be played on June 1, before culminating with the IPL 2025 final on June 3. The venues for the playoffs will be announced at a later stage.
The IPL 2025 revised schedule includes two double-headers, which will be played on two Sundays.
