Apart from Will O'Rourke, Avesh Khan and Ayush Badoni picked up two wickets each, while Akash Singh and Shahbaz Ahmed chipped in with one scalp apiece.

Markram, Marsh provided fiery start

Our Super Giants were off to a brilliant start as in-form Aiden Markram hit Mohammed Siraj through the covers for a boundary on the very first ball of the innings.

Markram looked in great touch as he slammed Arshad Khan for a four, while Mitchell Marsh soon joined the party as he clobbered Arshad for a maximum to accumulate 14 runs in the second over.

Our consistent opening duo of Markram and Marsh played some exquisite shots as we scored 53/0 in the first six overs.

Marsh, Nicky P continued the onslaught

After the powerplay, Marsh showcased his ball-striking capabilities as he smashed the GT bowlers to all parts of the ground to notch up his fifty off just 33 balls.

Later in the 10th over, our scintillating 91-run opening stand came to an end as Markram fell for a quick-fire 36.

Following Markram’s dismissal, Nicholas Pooran announced his arrival at the crease with a first ball six off Sai Kishore.

At the other end, Marsh continued the assault as he hammered Rashid Khan for two maximums and three fours to amass 25 runs in the 12th over.

Marsh and Pooran racked in the big overs as we reached 150 in just 14.2 overs. Our swashbuckling southpaw Nicky P later slammed Siraj for 20 runs to pile on the runs.

In the 17th over, Marsh soon brought up his maiden IPL century off just 56 balls.

Pooran also continued his fine form as he reached his fifty off just 23 balls in the following over, his fifth half-century in IPL 2025.

Marsh then smashed Prasidh Krishna for back-to-back sixes before he departed for 117 in the penultimate over. His magnificent knock was laced with 10 fours and eight maximums.

In the final over, captain Rishabh Pant clobbered Kagiso Rabada for two huge maximums, including an audacious no-look six to power us to 235/2 in our 20 overs.

Will bagged early scalp

Defending 235, Will O'Rourke gave us an early breakthrough as he dismissed Sai Sudharsan to end a 46-run opening stand with skipper Shubman Gill.

Avesh, Akash provided huge breakthroughs

Later in the eighth over, Avesh Khan bagged the massive wicket of opposition captain Shubman Gill, courtesy of a stunning catch by Abdul Samad.

Akash Singh soon joined the party as he rattled Jos Butter's stumps to reduce the Titans to 96/3 in the 10th over.

Super Giants returned to winning ways

After losing two quick wickets, Shahrukh Khan and Sherfane Rutherford then stitched an 86-run stand for the Titans.

Will O'Rourke later provided us with the much-needed breakthrough as he removed Rutherford for 38.

In the final few overs, our bowlers dismissed Rahul Tewatia, Arshad Khan, Shahrukh, Kagiso Rabada and Sai Kishore to restrict the Titans to 202/9 and register a comprehensive 33-run win in Ahmedabad.
