Following a successful expedition to Bengaluru, our boys are back in Lucknow to face Gujarat Titans in front of the home fans at the BRSABV Ekana Cricket Stadium on Sunday. The evening fixture begins at 7:30 PM IST.

After a setback against Rajasthan Royals in the opening game, we've bounced back perfectly with wins against Punjab Kings and Royal Challengers Bengaluru. We are now eyeing a hat-trick of wins to consolidate our position in the top four of the IPL 2024 points table.

However, Gujarat Titans will present a formidable challenge for us. We have faced them four times and have never beaten them. But with our senior campaigners and youngsters stepping up in unison this season, we’re the in-form team going into the fixture.

Speedster Mayank Yadav, with his fiery pace, dismantled the batting line-ups of PBKS and RCB to take home the Player of the Match awards in both of his IPL appearances so far. He will look to produce a similar bowling performance in front of the home fans on Sunday.

M Siddharth, Naveen-ul-Haq, Ravi Bishnoi and Krunal Pandya, all possess unique skill sets in bowling and would be eager to build upon their impressive season so far.

Quinton de Kock will come into the contest on the back of consecutive fifties and is in line to become only the fourth South African to play 100 IPL matches.

With 146 runs from three games at a strike rate of over 175, Nicky P is our top run-scorer this season and will look to finish with a flurry of boundaries once again.

Skipper KL Rahul, who is 17 runs shy from completing 1000 runs for LSG in IPL, also looks due for a big innings.

News from GT camp

Captain Shubman Gill will lead the Gujarat Titans from the front. Sai Sudharsan has also been among the runs but their star player David Miller, Rahul Tewatia and opener Wriddhiman Saha haven’t had the best of starts this season.

Seamer Mohit Sharma has been one of the top seam bowlers in the IPL this year and GT’s spin department also boasts of the likes of dangerous Noor Ahmad and Rashid Khan.

GT come into the match on the back of a narrow three-wicket loss to Punjab Kings at home on Thursday. They have played four matches this season so far - winning two and losing as many.

GT VS LSG history

We have a poor record against GT in IPL with four losses and no wins but trust our boys to leave no stone unturned to change that this Sunday.
