Arjun Tendulkar traded in by Lucknow Super Giants ahead of IPL 2026
Fast bowler Arjun Tendulkar has been roped in by the Lucknow Super Giants for INR 30 lakhs from the Mumbai Indians ahead of IPL 2026.
The Mumbai-born pacer, who made his Indian Premier League debut in 2023 against Kolkata Knight Riders, has featured in five matches at his previous franchise, scalping three wickets. Although the Mumbai Indians signed him in IPL 2021, an injury ruled him out of the season before he was rebought by the franchise ahead of the 2022 season.

Following in his father’s footsteps, Arjun has previously represented Mumbai in domestic cricket. He currently plays for Goa domestically.
Overall, the 26-year-old has taken 27 wickets in 24 T20s at a strike rate of 17.1 and an average of 25.07. Primarily a bowler, he has also hit 119 runs at a strike rate of 123.95 in this format, showcasing his ability with the bat.
Arjun has also taken 47 first-class wickets and 25 List A wickets in his career. The southpaw also boasts two fifties and one century in first-class cricket - a whirlwind 120 on his Ranji Trophy for Goa.
Notably, Arjun is well known for his searing yorkers and the ability to swing the ball both ways with his left-arm pace. His skill set puts him in good stead to exploit and conquer the conditions at his new home in the IPL - the Ekana Stadium.
We welcome Arjun to the Super Giants family and wish him the very best for his journey at Lucknow!
