A challenging TATA IPL 2026 campaign for LSG has come to a close. It was a testing season in many ways, but through every high and low, the group stood firmly together - shoulder to shoulder - never allowing the spirit within the camp to fade.

Across 14 matches, we registered four wins, overcoming Sunrisers Hyderabad, Kolkata Knight Riders, Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Chennai Super Kings along the way. While other results may not have gone our way, the fight and intent were never in question.

At the heart of the campaign were a handful of standout performers who led from the front. Mitchell Marsh was exceptional with the bat, amassing 563 runs and becoming the first Lucknow Super Giants player to score 500+ runs in back-to-back seasons.

With the ball, Prince Yadav emerged as a force to reckon with, claiming 16 wickets and earning his maiden ODI call-up for India, which is a richly deserved reward for his relentless performances.

There were also moments of individual brilliance that lit up the season. Rishabh Pant’s unbeaten 68* in a tricky chase against SRH guided us to our first win of the season, while Mukul Choudhary’s fearless 27-ball 54* against KKR powered us to a thrilling win.

Later in the campaign, Mohsin Khan’s stunning 5/23 at home versus KKR, Nicholas Pooran’s blistering 21-ball 63 against MI and Mitchell Marsh’s scintillating century against RCB stood out as defining highlights. Josh Inglis, arriving midway through the season, made an immediate impact with three half-centuries in five matches, averaging an impressive 53.20.

While the campaign, as a whole, didn’t go as per our plan, we would like to take a moment and thank our beloved LSG Brigade.

Through every result, every venue and every moment, your unwavering support remained our biggest strength. You showed up, you believed, and you stood by us when it mattered most. We carry that belief forward. We will return stronger, hungrier and ready to challenge again for our maiden piece of silverware!
